Howard County Public School System reports there are 309 students in quarantine due to a positive COVID-19 test or as a close contact

Here is the latest reporting of COVID-19 numbers from the Howard County Public School System on January 26, 2022:

As of Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2022, there are 309 students and 108 staff members in quarantine due to a positive COVID-19 test or as a close contact. These numbers will be updated every Wednesday by 11 AM.

Please note that close contact or quarantine does not indicate those students or staff have tested positive for COVID-19. See below for daily and 7-day totals of positive case numbers.

Here is a look at the current HCPSS COVID-19 dashboard:

The 345 total reported cases this week is a slight increase from the 316 cases reported last week.

Still no history from HCPSS on their COVID-19 dashboard…so here is a look at past numbers reported by HCPSS tracked by Scott E’s Blog:

As I wind down to retire the Blog on February 24th I am anticipating that this will be my final weekly HCPSS COVID-19 update. If something drastic happens next month I will report out on it but this will be the final weekly update.

If you feel that the history above is useful and something that HCPSS should be reporting in their dashboard…I highly recommend that you email the following and request that they add this weekly history to the dashboard:
