There is also a Facebook page for the campaign: https://www.facebook.com/Ray-Fava-For-County-Commissioner-105041728729150/
Here is some basic information from the website:
Who I Am
I am a Christian. When I was 21, I married the love of my life, Annie, and now we have two wonderful daughters. I grew up in Carroll County and graduated from Carroll Community College. I since got a bachelor’s degree and now work in IT and have businesses on the side. Having grown up in Woodbine, I now live in New Windsor. In my spare time, I write about faith and politics, watch movies with some craft beer, and dabble in culinary arts.
Why I’m Running
I cannot sit on the sidelines as our country goes up in flames. Carroll County should be a bastion of freedom and liberty in the state of Maryland, but I believe Carroll County has been too complicit in the tyranny imposed by Governor Larry Hogan. Policies, like lockdowns and mask mandates, should have been outright rejected by Carroll County. All politics is local, and Carroll needs politicians who understand the times in which we live in. I believe that making Carroll County a bastion for freedom locally will go a long way in saving our nation, especially if this mentality is installed elsewhere in the country.
Ray now joins Michael Guerin in the Republican Primary in District 4. There are no Democrats that have filed to run in District 4 (or any other Commissioner District in Carroll County) as of this post.
The filing deadline is February 22nd and I will continue to watch for new candidate filings.
