Howard County adds 1,103 new positive COVID-19 cases on December 30th; Highest number reported to date

The Maryland Department of Health (MDH) reported the highest one day total of new COVID-19 cases statewide on December 30th (14,316 new cases). In Howard County, the number of new COVID-19 cases was 1,103. This represents the highest one day total to date throughout this pandemic for the state and Howard County.

This is the second consecutive day both the state and Howard County have set new all time high numbers in new cases.

  • 2021/01/08: 220 new cases
  • 2021/01/09: 210 new cases
  • 2020/11/26: 165 new cases

    What is the explanation provided by the County medical authorities for this extraordinary sudden increase for a county that has a very high level of vaccinations?!?

    It shows how incompetent and politically motivated are the so called leaders of our community.
    Someone should have the decency to admit ignorance when they don’t have the knowledge.
