The Ellicott City Partnership (ECP) hosts the 43rd Annual Midnight Madness in historic Ellicott City on Friday, December 3rd at 6:00 pm. Visitors are welcome to join the annual festivities taking place at the Howard County Welcome Center, located at 8267 Main Street, Ellicott City, MD.
Visitors are invited to experience the historic district through shopping, dining, and enjoying the merriment around the town. See expanded holiday decorations throughout town storefronts. Find that unique gift for your special someone and enjoy our restaurants that will be serving festive selections late into the evening. All attendees are encouraged to arrive at Ellicott City by 5:30 PM.
A shuttle will be running through the town to transport patrons into town and back to the auxiliary lots.
Christopher Pineda, Executive Director states “Midnight Madness is a perfect time to come to Old Ellicott City and enjoy it with family and friends. Every year our town prepares to welcome the community and guests to take part of the holiday festivities, and this year we’re filled with joy to be able to welcome back those we haven’t seen in over a year due to the pandemic.”
The Ellicott City Partnership will launch the Midnight Madness festivities at 6:00 pm with the annual tree lighting, sponsored by BGE. Local elected officials will be in attendance, including County Executive Calvin Ball, Councilwoman Liz Walsh, Delegate Courtney Watson, and more.
