Continuing my school COVID-19 updates…Carroll County Public Schools (CCPS) is reporting 211 active cases of COVID-19 on November 23rd. These numbers are updated every Wednesday of each week. Here is the breakdown of the numbers this week:
- 207 Students
- 4 Staff
Note: Numbers reflect active confirmed positive cases for each week. As a result, these students and staff are in quarantine.
CCPS is also reporting the “Quarantined” number on their dashboard. This week that number is 605. Last week that number was 588. The week before that number was 586.
Note: Quarantine data reflect the number of individuals required to quarantine because they are a close contact to a Positive COVID-19 case. The quarantine data do not reflect individuals in quarantine because they are COVID positive.

Not listed on the dashboard: On September 17th CCPS had 803 students in quarantine
The number of “CCPS Positive Totals” and the number in Quarantine has now risen for 5 consecutive weeks.
