Carroll County Public Schools COVID-19 dashboard shows a continued rising number of COVID-19 cases and individuals quarantined; data from November 10th

Continuing my school COVID-19 updates…Carroll County Public Schools (CCPS) is reporting 193 active cases of COVID-19 on November 10th. These numbers are updated every Wednesday of each week. Here is the breakdown of the numbers this week:

  • 186 Students
  • 7 Staff

Note: Numbers reflect active confirmed positive cases for each week. As a result, these students and staff are in quarantine.

CCPS is also reporting the “Quarantined” number on their dashboard. This week that number is 586. Last week that number was 508. The week before that number was 407.

Note: Quarantine data reflect the number of individuals required to quarantine because they are a close contact to a Positive COVID-19 case. The quarantine data do not reflect individuals in quarantine because they are COVID positive.

Here is a look at the COVID-19 numbers over the past 10 weeks on the dashboard:

Not listed on the dashboard: On September 17th CCPS had 803 students in quarantine

This is three consecutive weeks of rising numbers of cases and individuals quarantined.
