On November 2nd Scott E’s Blog (Carroll County and Howard County local news, local politics, local sports articles and more) exceeded 1 million page views in calendar year 2021.
In calendar year 2020 Scott E’s Blog reached just over 1.2 million page views. In 2019 the Blog had over 500,000 page views. Here is a year by year breakdown of page views from 2014 - 2020:
- 2014: 18,948 views
- 2015: 26,631 views
- 2016: 38,547 views
- 2017: 52,937 views
- 2018: 197,367 views
- 2019: 519,463 views
- 2020: 1,220,921 views
One additional continuing milestone for the Blog is that the Blog has had at least 50,000 page views per month for 27 consecutive months (dating back to August 2019). October 2021 the Blog had 60,621 page views.
Scott E’s Blog also recently won its 3rd consecutive Best of Howard County “Best Blog” award from Howard Magazine (Readers Choice Awards). Scott E’s Blog is the second blogger to win this award 3 consecutive years (See History).
