All of Carroll County and Northwest Howard County is under a Freeze Warning for early tomorrow morning. Here is information from the National Weather Service on November 2nd at 12:00pm:
…FREEZE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 2 AM TO 10 AM EDT WEDNESDAY…
* WHAT…Sub-freezing temperatures as low as 29 expected.
* WHERE…The I-81 corridor/Shenandoah Valley in Virginia, West Virginia, and Maryland, north central Maryland and portions of the Virginia Piedmont.
* WHEN…From 2 AM to 10 AM EDT Wednesday.
* IMPACTS…Frost and freeze conditions will kill crops, other
sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing.
Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold. To prevent freezing and possible bursting of outdoor water pipes they should be wrapped, drained, or allowed to drip slowly. Those that have in-ground sprinkler systems should drain them and cover above-ground pipes to protect them from freezing.
As you can see the rest of Howard County is under a Frost Advisory (click image above for more information).
I went ahead and covered our outdoor water spigots just in case:
