Some important items on this topic:
COMPLAINT & BOARD INVESTIGATION
On or about March 23, 2021, the Board received a complaint alleging that the Respondent (Delegate Hill) had participated in two Maryland General Assembly committee meetings by videoconference while simultaneously performing surgery. The complainant did not have direct knowledge of the incidents but instead cited a newspaper article that described the Respondent’s conduct.
The Board (Maryland State Board of Physicians) opened an investigation into the Respondent following its receipt and review of the complaint. The relevant details of the Board’s investigation are described in Paragraphs 6 – 18 (see linked document below)

Why is the hospital being shielded from any public knowledge of their failure in this matter. Aside from not trusting Hill’s judgement in the future I would want to avoid any hospital that would permit this behavior or, apparently, fail to penalize Hill

Shouldn’t Chairman Pendergrass also be dealt with for allowing this!

What an appalling lack of judgement! Her license to practice should be permanently revoked. What if the patient had coded? Can you imagine the lawsuits? That she would open herself up to? Or the lawsuits against the hospital – that you and I would ultimately pay for? What an incredible imbecile! Complete lack of common sense.
