Shared by Howard County Executive on October 21st:
Last night, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved the use of COVID-19 boosters for the Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines. While the FDA has approved the use, administration cannot begin until the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) authorizes use, which is expected in the coming days. This chart provides more information on the three COVID-19 vaccines and what residents should expect.
We encourage residents to be informed about boosters as we continue our work to mitigate COVID-19 in our community. For more information, please visit vaccine.howardcountymd.gov

Also of note…this was shared by the Howard County Health Department on October 21st:
We are currently out of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine and will be unable to administer it at upcoming clinics until further notice. Individuals interested in receiving the J&J vaccine should contact other area vaccination clinics.
We still have plenty of Pfizer and Moderna vaccine for our upcoming clinics this week and next week. You can find the full list here: http://bit.ly/HoCOVIDVaccine.
