Our office recently received information from a local resident about a Supermarket Customer Sweepstakes Raffle Draw. If you receive a letter with a check made out to you saying that you “won” the raffle, please know that these materials are fraudulent. This well-conceived scam has been around for quite some time. If you receive similar materials in the mail, please reach out to the Attorney General’s Office Consumer Protection Division and the Federal Trade Commission to make them aware of the scam.
