Announced by Howard County Executive Calvin Ball on July 18th:

Howard County leads the State with 84.2% of eligible residents 12+ who have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and 79.1% are fully vaccinated, according to the Maryland Department of Health. Howard County continues to lead the state with our vaccination progress, but we will continue to reach out to those who have not yet received a vaccine.

The percentage of variants is increasing. If you haven’t already received your shot – now’s the time. Variants are more transmissible making it even more important to get vaccinated to protect ourselves and our loved ones who are not eligible. Encourage your family and friends to visit to find a clinic nearby.

For the areas I watch and write about:

  • Howard County
    • At least one dose: 84.2% (1st)
    • Fully Vaccinated 79.1% (1st)
  • Carroll County
    • At Least One dose: 68.9% (7th)
    • Fully Vaccinated: 65.0% (6th)

    • Fully Vaccinated +0.7%
  • Carroll County
