This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of eastern West
Virginia, northern and central Virginia, and central and western
Maryland.

.DAY ONE…Tonight

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Monday through Saturday

Heat index values may approach 100 to 105 during the afternoon
hours Monday through Wednesday, especially east of Interstate 81.

There is medium to high confidence in the potential for severe
thunderstorms, flooding or flash flooding Thursday, with lower
confidence Wednesday and Friday.

Note: Looks like the best chances for rain will be Thursday (showers and thunderstorms) and that should cool things down a bit in our area bringing the high temperatures back into the 80s.
