Carroll County has some VERY hot days ahead with the current forecast calling for 90+ degree high temperatures on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Here is the upcoming forecast from the National Weather Service:

Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 94. Heat index values as high as 102. Southwest wind around 8 mph.
Tuesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 72. South wind around 6 mph.
Wednesday: A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2pm. Sunny, with a high near 95. Southwest wind around 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
Wednesday Night: A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 72. Chance of precipitation is 40%

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

Heat index values may approach 100 to 105 during the afternoon
hours Monday through Wednesday, especially east of Interstate 81.
There is medium to high confidence in the potential for severe
thunderstorms, flooding or flash flooding Thursday, with lower
confidence Wednesday and Friday.
Note: Looks like the best chances for rain will be Thursday (showers and thunderstorms) and that should cool things down a bit in our area bringing the high temperatures back into the 80s.
