Howard County leads the state with nearly 70% of 12 to 17 year olds vaccinated with at least one COVID-19 shot

Howard County Executive Calvin Ball shared the following information on June 27th:

As we’ve known since the start of this pandemic, it’s going to take all of us working together to get to the other side of this and we are seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. According to the Maryland Department of Health, 69.8% of residents between the ages of 12 and 17 have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and 60.5% are fully vaccinated.
