The Carroll County Health Department, in collaboration with PinPoint US, LLC, is offering free digital COVID-19 vaccine cards for Carroll County residents and others who were vaccinated in Carroll County.
VaccineCheck creates a personalized digital version of a CDC vaccine card after verifying an individual’s COVID-19 vaccine history through Maryland’s statewide immunization registry. Residents can also use the service to upload images of their paper CDC vaccine card for safe digital record-keeping accessible through their smartphone or computer. Data uploads and verification of vaccine history are conducted using the HIPAA-compliant PinPoint platform.
“We are excited to expand our VaccineCheck program to Carroll County,” said Chris Nickerson, PinPoint Managing Partner. “The VaccineCheck program is a safe and secure option for managing COVID-19 vaccination records.”
“VaccineCheck gives people an easy, convenient way to access their CDC vaccine card,” said Amanda Haugh, Administrative Program Manager at the Carroll County Health Department, who helped bring the program to Carroll County. “People call us every day to say they lost or damaged their paper card, and this is a great alternative. The Health Department has worked hard to make COVID-19 vaccinations easy and accessible, so we are happy to be able to offer this program to make it easy for people to get a digital version of their vaccination cards as well.”
