It has been a while since I have done a “Hot Stocks” update for our family and friends Stock Market Fantasy game. Truth is that for the past few months we (the game players) have been more under than over. Early on in June things are looking promising so I thought it was time to do this again.
Here are some stocks in various players portfolios that are off to a great start in June 2021 (all information is as of June 5th):
Asensus Surgical Inc (ASXC): This stock is up 27.78% so far in June. This stock is the top stock of all stocks (percentage up) in player portfolios. The stock has earned Scott E $131.95 to date this month.
Marathon Oil Corporation (MRO): This stock is up 13.96% so far in June. This stock has earned Scott E $169.00 to date this month.
Rocket Companies Inc (RKT): This stock is up 11.63% so far in June. This stock has earned Wendi $84.20 so far this month.
Nemaura Medical Inc (NMRD): This stock is up 10.51% so far in June. This stock has earned Harry $71.50 so far in June.
Honorable mentions - money making stocks:
NVIDIA Corporation (NVDA) - This stock has made Leland $106.70 in June so far and is up 8.21%.
Roblox Corp (RBLX) - This stock has made Wendi $116.00 so far in June and is up 6.19%
The worst stock chosen in the game in June to date is:
Tecnoglass Inc (TGLS): This stock is down 9.19% so far in June. This stock has cost Harry $131.30 so far in June.
A few other fun facts from our game:
We picked up an 8th player in June (Kathy). We have two additional new players expected to join the game in July (John and Britt).
Top game money maker in June so far is Wendi: $229.23 (up 4.59%) in the first week.
Top game money maker in the 2nd quarter so far is Scott E (up $316.63).
Top game money maker for the year to date is Scott E up $2,382.23 followed very closely by Wendi who is up $2,329.12.
It is still a long month and a great many things could change in the market and in the game.
It has been a fun game to play in 2021 and there has been lots of smack talking between players in the game. Glad to see the game grow this year with new players.
