Through a partnership with the Howard County Health Department, HCPSS is pleased to provide HCPSS students various opportunities to get vaccinated. Adolescents aged 12-15 are now eligible to receive the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine as approved by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. All time slots for clinics will be filled on a first come, first served basis. The next clinic opportunity is forthcoming and parents/guardians of eligible students will be notified by email.
COVID-19 vaccines are also being offered 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday at the former Lord and Taylor space at The Mall in Columbia. No appointments are required, but they are available and can be made online. Mass vaccination sites are also offering vaccinations to adolescents aged 12-15.
If your child is unable to schedule an appointment at one of the clinics we share, please be patient as we hope to schedule additional clinics for HCPSS students through this partnership. You can also try the Maryland state distribution website or the website of a pharmacy that is getting vaccine doses directly from the manufacturer.
