Carroll County Health Department posted the following on Facebook on May 4th:

Have you heard? We’re accepting 1st dose walk-ins at our upcoming vaccination clinics, as vaccine supply allows.

Find clinic dates, times, and registration links (registration is still encouraged): https://cchd.maryland.gov/registration-links/

Here is some of the information on that page:

All people age 18+ who live or work in Carroll County are now eligible to be vaccinated at Health Department clinics. (We are not currently able to vaccinate people 16-17 years old at this time. See below for options for this age group.)

You must bring a photo ID to the clinic. If you do not have one, you can sign an affidavit.

Currently available clinics (1st dose only – you must get your 2nd dose where you got your 1st dose*):

Please note: Registration is preferred, but walk-ins will be permitted if vaccine supply allows. Please see below for registration tips.

(Moderna and Johnson and Johnson are only approved for people age 18+; people age 16-17 are not eligible for these clinics.)

Per the state of Maryland COVID-19 dashboard – distribution of COVID-19 vaccines in Carroll County appears to be on the decline a bit (at least last week).

This might be a great opportunity to get your shot. Hopefully more walk in opportunities are available in the future for residents.
