Howard County Executive Calvin Ball will announce a public-private partnership with Safeway to vaccinate Howard County students 18+ on Wednesday, April 28 at 10:00 a.m. at Meadowbrook Athletic Complex in Ellicott City. Only 37.3% of Howard County residents are fully vaccinated.
“Our young people more recently became eligible to receive the vaccine, and we’re focusing our efforts today on our Howard County students who have not yet been vaccinated,” said Ball. “In Howard County only 50% of residents between 18-24 have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. We’re going to change that.”
