School Resource Officer Announcement

Wednesday, April 21, 2021, at 11:00 a.m.

Outside George Howard Building, 3430 Court House Drive, Ellicott City. In case of rain, the press conference will be inside the Columbia/Ellicott room.

Calvin Ball, Howard County Executive
Chief Lisa Myers, Howard County Police Department
Rich Gibson, State’s Attorney

Interesting that no one from the school system is attending this announcement tomorrow. I believe (and someone correct me if I am wrong) but Howard County Police Chief Lisa Meyers and Howard County State’s Attorney Rich Gibson have been supporters of SROs in the school system.

I will be sure to share the live stream of the event here and follow up with the press release after the event.
