I thought I would do one post for these three villages in Columbia for the 2021 elections. Here is the information on each website:
Town Center: https://www.columbiatowncenter.org/
***The Nomination Period for the Board of Directors positions ended at 12:00 NOON March 12. The Town Center Board of Directors had four candidates for five open positions. The election was uncontested, so all four candidates were deemed elected for two-year terms per the Residential Community Association By-Laws. The Town Center Board of Directors welcomes to the Board Clara Pino. Please also welcome back to the Board: Joel Broida, Dean Dworkin, and Lynn Foehrkolb. New Board terms start May 1, 2021 and run through April 30, 2023.***
Current two-year terms of office for three Harper’s Choice Village Board seats expire on April 30, 2021. Three Board of Director nomination petitions were received from Debra Erica Warner, Arthur Brody, and Joel Hurewitz.
Per the Harper’s Choice Community Association bylaws, if the number of nominations is less than or equal to the number of vacant director positions, the qualified nominees shall be deemed to be elected by the members and the Board of Directors will appoint the nominees to the director positions. The terms of office for the three nominees will be May 1, 2021 through April 30, 2023.

In the April article of the village newsletter: https://img1.wsimg.com/blobby/go/31029557-a135-46ab-afcd-2c820e69bb7e/downloads/observer%2004-21.pdf?ver=1617390783136
Friday, March 19, 2021 was the deadline for declaring candidacy for the 2021 Owen Brown Village Board of Directors election. Residents Robert Golibersuch, Mae Beale and Brad Butler all declared their candidacy for the three open seats on the Village Board. When there is an uncontested election (meaning: the number of qualified nominees is lesser than or equal to the number of Board vacancies to be filled), the Board of Directors is authorized to elect, on behalf of the members, the qualified nominees as Directors. Therefore, at the Annual Meeting of Members on May 4, 2021, the Village Board will appoint the above-named candidates to a two-year term. Residents are encouraged to attend the Annual Meeting, which will be held via Zoom starting at 7:00 p.m. For meeting access information, contact Craig Barton at email@example.com
None of the three villages has a contested election and none of these three villages has a seat up for election for Columbia Council (Columbia Association Board of Directors).
Stay tuned as I will have an article about the candidates running for CA Board of Directors.
