I had a senior moment with the original title. Corrected it as quickly as possible (within 5 minutes).
I was invited to visit Pub Dog in Columbia to take some photos of the inside prior to their reopening in Howard County on March 8th. Drew Walston (Director of Operations) saw my post (Pub Dog in Columbia set to reopen in March 2021) and sent me the invite and I jumped at the chance to get these photos.
I got some photos pf the main bar area and the area of the establishment with booths:
As well as a few photos from outside:
I took photos with my camera and my phone (my phone just works better inside with certain types of lighting through windows).
You will notice a very familiar feel to the establishment. Most of the establishment was not affected by the explosion back in 2019.
While there we talked about how things are going for the business (their two other locations), how they would operate with the current COVID restrictions, staffing and a few other things. They seem fully ready and all seems set for their reopening on March 8th at 4:30pm. Here is a recent post by Pub Dog – Columbia on Facebook:
After more than 18 months of being closed following a natural gas explosion, we are excited to officially announce that we will be reopening at 4:30PM on Monday March 8th!! We will be open for carryout and socially-distanced dining for the temporary hours listed below. Thanks to everyone for all the support during this tough time. We can’t wait to see you next week!!
Here will be their hours of operation when the doors reopen on Monday:
I am hoping I have some free time on Monday and I can swing by for a pint to support this establishment. I hope you consider doing the same in the near future.
It is great to see this first business return to that shopping area. Hopefully more return in the near future.
