Governor Hogan weighs in on the legislation to remove of School Resource Officers from schools

Maryland Governor Larry Hogan posted the following on Facebook on March 2nd:

Members of the legislature are attempting to defund the police in Maryland schools by removing all School Resource Officers.
Every child deserves to be safe while getting an education. This extreme proposal would make our children less safe as they return to school.

There will be a hearing on this bill at 1:30 PM tomorrow in the House Ways and Means Committee. You can watch it here:
