…WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 7 AM THIS MORNING TO 3 PM EST THIS AFTERNOON…
* WHAT…Mixed precipitation. Total snow and sleet accumulations
of 1 to 3 inches and ice accumulations of a light glaze.
* WHERE…Portions of central and northern Maryland and northern Virginia.
* WHEN…From 7 AM this morning to 3 PM EST this afternoon.
* IMPACTS…Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning commute.
Slow down and use caution while traveling.
When venturing outside, watch your first few steps taken on steps, sidewalks, and driveways, which could be icy and slippery, increasing your risk of a fall and injury.

Monday – Rain and snow, possibly mixed with freezing rain before 3pm, then a slight chance of rain between 3pm and 4pm. Patchy fog between 2pm and 4pm. High near 40. South wind 9 to 11 mph, with gusts as high as 23 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. Little or no ice accumulation expected. New snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches possible.
Monday Night – Mostly cloudy, with a low around 32. West wind around 9 mph.
