Reported on the Maryland Department of Health COVID-19 Vaccination Dashboard on February 5th there have been 15,741 first doses and 4,480 second doses of the COVID-19 vaccine administered in Carroll County (a total of 20,221 doses administered).

1,722 new vaccine doses administered was reported yesterday on the dashboard for Carroll County. At this point I have not found a public dataset from the state with the day by day increases by county so I have started tracking this data in my 2021 COVID-19 Google Spreadsheet (see tab 2 for Howard County and Carroll County data):

The very low number of new doses reported between Feb 1 and 3 were related to the snow event in our area.

Here are the Carroll County COVID-19 Vaccination Totals per the County Health Department website:

If you would like to understand the difference in the State numbers and the County numbers be sure to read this:  Understanding the confusing COVID-19 vaccination data between what is reported by the state, Howard County and Carroll County

Be sure to check out the Carroll County Health Department COVID Vaccination page here: https://cchd.maryland.gov/covid-19-vaccination/. Here is important information at the top of that page on February 6th:

The Carroll County Health Department is currently in Phase 1B while we continue to finish 1A. We are only receiving around 800-1,400 doses per week of the Moderna vaccine for 18 and older, though we requested 3000. This allocation is decided by the state based on population. See our press release for additional details and this Maryland Department of Health press release for more information on state allocations.

I will do my best to keep this information updated daily and report out significant changes or milestones in the vaccination process.

Here are important links with data on Coronavirus (COVID-19) numbers I use regularly:

Note: Daily COVID-19 updates going forward will only happen when something significant needs to be reported during the week. Weekly weekend charts will continue to happen on Saturday or Sunday and will be specific to new data points I am developing in 2021. Monthly charts will happen around the 1st of each month (or as quickly as I can given my schedule).
