The following is a post on Facebook from Courtney Watson – State Delegate (District 9B in Howard County) on January 31st at 10:24am:

Teachers. Our teachers are working harder than ever, building an airplane as it flies through the sky. I am so thankful for the work they have done during COVID to figure out how to: best teach online, best ways to keep students engaged, and how to ensure that their students are learning. Often, they do this while their own children are online learning at home. YES, our students ARE getting an education this year. Of course we want our students back in school, but we must vaccinate our teachers first. As a previous member of the Board of Education, I ask our current board to protect our teaches and their families by not putting them in a classroom until they have been offered a vaccine.

I am going on the assumption that “protect our teaches” is a typo.
