The annual campaign finance reports are in for all of the Howard County Board of Education members. Here is a quick summary of the money raised, spent and cash on hand reported in January 2021:

ALCE = Affidavit of Limited Contributions and Expenditures (the candidate does not intend to receive contributions or make expenditures in the cumulative amount of $1,000 or more).

One thing to keep in mind is that the Board members in Districts 1,2,3,4 and 5 just finished running in elections in 2020 and their reports only reflect what has changed since their last report back in November.

Here is a better look at the information above:

At Large – Vicky Cutroneo: Filed an ALCE for her annual report in 2021. She did file a balance of $256.17 in her 2020 annual report. (See Report)

At Large – Chao Wu: Reported no money raised in 2020 and a pretty minimal amount of money spent. (See Report)

District 1 – Christina Delmont-Small: Not much activity since the last report in November. (See 2021 Annual Report)

District 2 – Antonia Watts: Not much activity since the last report in November. (See 2021 Annual Report)

District 3 – Jolene Mosley: No activity since the last report in November. (See 2021 Annual Report)

District 4 – Jen Mallo: Not much activity since the last report in November. Mallo does have a REALLY BIG “Outstanding Loan Balance” from the past two elections cycles. (See 2021 Annual Report)

District 5 – Yun Lu: Not much activity since the last report in November. Yun Lu does have the most cash on hand of any current HoCoBOE member today (See 2021 Annual Report)

I may have additional articles in the future looking at the reports for our State Senators and State Delegates.
