ARREST: Robbery updates

Police have made arrests in two recent commercial robberies.

On Nov. 25, two employees at Walmart in the 6400 block of Dobbin Road in Columbia reported that a male suspect with his face partially covered was attempting to steal a television. When the employees confronted the suspect, he pepper sprayed them before fleeing with the television. No serious injuries were reported. Through investigation, police identified the suspect and arrested him. Bradley Ryan Sanford, 26, of Briggs Chaney Road in Silver Spring, is charged with armed robbery, assault, and theft.

On Dec. 1, an employee at the Shell gas station in the 10700 block of Birmingham Way in Woodstock reported that a male suspect with his face partially covered entered the store, displayed a handgun, and demanded cash. The employee complied and the suspect fled. No one was injured. Through investigation, police identified the suspect and arrested him. Grayson Carl Schroyer III, 35, of Forest Hill Avenue in Baltimore, is charged with armed robbery, assault, theft, and weapon violations.
