Multiple sources (including the one I trust most with football news: Ian Rapoport) have reported that Lamar Jackson (starting QB for the Baltimore Ravens) has tested positive for COVID-19. Baltimore has placed 10 players (eight starters) on the reserve/COVID-19 list:

  • QB Lamar Jackson
  • DE Jihad Ward
  • RB Mark Ingram II
  • RB J.K. Dobbins
  • DT Brandon Williams
  • LB Pernell McPhee
  • DE Calais Campbell
  • G/C Patrick Mekari
  • G/C Matt Skura
  • QB Trace McSorley was added to the COVID-19 list last week.

Veteran QB Robert Griffin III is currently slated to take over in Jackson’s place for the game against Pittsburgh on Sunday (1:15pm). Practice-squad rookie Tyler Huntley is expected to be the backup QB for that game (right now).

The Baltimore Ravens are coming off a 30 – 24 overtime loss to the Tennessee Titans and have lost 3 of their last 4 games:

  • 11/1: 24-28 vs Steelers (L)
  • 11/8: 24-10 at Colts (W)
  • 11/15: 17-23 at Patriots (L)
  • 11/22: 24-30 vs Titans (L)

The Ravens are currently 6-4 and 3rd in the AFC North:

Remaining games on the Ravens regular season schedule include:

  • Steelers
  • Cowboys
  • Browns
  • Jaguars
  • Giants
  • Bengals
