The Maryland Department of Health dashboard is now showing that Howard County has 7,542 confirmed cases of COVID-19. This is an increase of 54 new cases over the past 24 hours. Testing % positivity rate in Howard County is now at 4.89% (as reported by the state).

Other significant items noted on the dashboard today include:

  • Maryland added 1,667 news cases of COVID-19 over the past 24 hours.
  • Maryland now has 1,341 people currently hospitalized due to COVID-19. This is and increase of 65 beds in use over the past day.
  • Testing % positive dropped slightly to 6.60%
  • It was reported that Howard County had 1 death due to COVID-19 over the past 24 hours bringing the total to 130.

Over the past 7 days Howard County has added 597 new cases of COVID-19:

  • 11/18 – 60 cases
  • 11/19 – 101 cases
  • 11/20 – 95 cases
  • 11/21 – 139 cases
  • 11/22 – 58 cases
  • 11/23 – 90 cases
  • 11/24 – 54 cases

Howard County went over 7,000 confirmed case back on November 18th

On November 21st Howard County saw its highest one day increase (139 new COVID-19 cases that day):

On November 23rd Howard County announced new restrictions due to COVID-19
