Governor Hogan will hold a press conference to provide an update to Marylanders on the COVID-19 surge today at 4 p.m.
I have not seen any additional information on what might be announced today…but the leading guesses are:
- Addressing the issues with the tests acquired from South Korea (and probably mentioning his exchange with President Trump on Twitter)
- Additional rollbacks based on the most recent COVID-19 numbers in Maryland
- A reminder about the current rollbacks announced and guidance for the Thanksgiving holiday.

Maryland reported 2,168 new cases of COVID-19 yesterday (November 22nd). This is six consecutive days of more than 2,000 new cases of COVID-19 in Maryland. Maryland has added 16,209 new cases of COVID-19 over the past seven days (an all time seven day total high number of new cases during this pandemic).
