The Maryland Department of Health reports 102 new cases of COVID-19 in Howard County on November 17th. This is the largest one day increase (reported by the state) since the beginning of this COVID-19 pandemic. The previous high was 91 reported on June 11th (and those numbers were adjusted down days later).

You can view the data I track daily in this Google Sheet:

For all of Maryland 2,149 new cases of COVID-19 were reported on November 17th…the second highest reported total since the beginning of this pandemic.

Maryland is once again over 1,000 beds in use due to COVID-19…the highest number we have seen since June 6, 2020.

Governor Hogan is set to make an announcement today at 2:00pm related to COVID-19:

I am a little concerned about this announcement based on the data…and will be something I tune into today.
