More than 1.5 million votes cast in Maryland as of October 28th; more than 100,000 votes cast in Howard County

I decided to take a look at the total votes cast as of yesterday (October 28th) in Maryland and in Howard County. I took the data from the Maryland State Board of Elections for Early Voting as of Day 3 and the data from mail-in ballots received as of October 28th. I put that information into a spreadsheet to see the total votes cast and % of eligible voters in each county:

Leading the way in total votes cast to date:

  1. Montgomery County
  2. Prince George’s County
  3. Baltimore County
  4. Anne Arundel County
  5. Baltimore City

note – Howard County ranks 6th

Leading the way in total turnout (% of eligible voters):

  1. Montgomery County
  2. Howard County
  3. Talbot County
  4. Kent County
  5. Anne Arundel County
