Many local groups (Indian Origin Network of Howard County (IONHoCo), Chinese American Political Association (CAPA PAC), League of Korean Americans (LoKA), Chin Association of Maryland (CAM) and Howard County Chinese School (HCCS)) co-hosted the Asian American Coalition Candidate Forum (held online) on October 6th. This is the second forum these group have hosted during the general election (previous forum on September 29th). This forum included the following 2020 General Election races:

  • Candidates for Howard County Board of Education – District 3
    • Jolene Mosley
  • Candidates for Howard County Board of Education – District 4
    • Sezin Palmer
  • Candidates for Howard County Board of Education – District 5
    • Cindy Vaillancourt
    • Yun Lu

Note – Jen Mallo (candidate in district 4) did not attend this event

You can view that event on Facebook here (click image below to watch the event on Facebook):

As of this post on October 7th the video has had more than 4,000 views on Facebook.

This continues a series of posts with links to online videos of political forums from Howard County. I will provide some information about the events and current analytics (views). Hopefully the blog readers find these events informative prior to voting in 2020.
