The following was posted on the Second Chance Saloon Facebook page on September 22nd:

Sadly, I must announce that the time has come. After 12 amazingly eventful years, 2nd Chance Saloon will be closing to the public on October 11, 2020. (10/10/20 is our final night, so please come by!) It has been very hard to come to this decision, but Declan, Wendy and I will not be renewing our lease. We all appreciate your continued patronage so very much and are so very sorry to see the business we created go. Please take this opportunity to come say goodbye to us and the staff. We will still be continuing business and entertainment as usual until close. Stay tuned for our “Last Holiday” get togethers for the next couple weeks. Don’t ever forget us, because we won’t forget you! Thanks again to every one who has stuck by our side through the good and the bad times! Thank you to all the entertainers weve had here, without you this place wouldn’t always be so energetic! And a VERY special thanks to each and every staff member we have employed over the years, you guys were truly the heart and soul of this place! We will miss y’all dearly!

Second Chance Saloon has a number of events listed on their Facebook page between now and October 11th…so if you get a chance….make it out and visit them before they are closed.

  1. jk from the pub named it the last chance following several failed attempts to manage a successful restaurant – it then became known for its Monday night 1/2 price burgers under Bill Howleys directions – many many patrons supported the last chance, making it a great neighborhood “drop in” another closing of out past – Judi Blanchard, part owner and bookkeeper
