Maryland Department of Health reports 519 new cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19) on August 16th making the total number of confirmed cases in Maryland 100,212. Here are some other significant numbers reported today (reported by Mike Ricci on Twitter):
Positivity rate: 3.42% (-.01, record low)
Hospitalizations: 475 (+15: Acute +7, ICU +8)
We are reporting 3 new confirmed deaths.
Note that this is our lowest number of new deaths since July 6.

Maryland is now reporting a seven-day positivity rate of 3.42%. Our daily positivity has reached a new record low of 2.67%. There are 475 total #COVID19 hospitalizations and 115 ICU beds in use.
Here in Howard County we added 31 new cases of COVID-19 bringing the total to 4,071 confirmed cases.
