The Maryland Department of Health reports the statewide positivity rate (rolling 7-day average) on August 11th is now at 3.54%. This breaks the record low of 3.62% reported on August 10th.

In Howard County (as reported by the state) the COVID-19 testing positivity rate remained below 3% for the second consecutive day (reported at 2.97% on August 10th).

Howard County Health Department usually does not report their data until later in the day (generally between 11:00am and 12:00pm)…I will update this article later in the day with a screenshot of testing data reported today when it is available and when I have time to update this article.
