Maryland Department of Health reports 3,530 confirmed cases of Coronavirus in Howard County and 88,346 cases in Maryland on July 31st. Maryland has 1,169 new cases and Howard County has 58 new cases of COVID-19 reported in the past 24 hours.
I am planning on a COVID-19 Weekly Chart update tomorrow. I would expect to see it around noon on Saturday (because I have to wait for the Howard County numbers and they are generally not out until and hour or more after the state numbers daily).

Note: Daily COVID-19 updates going forward will happen on Monday, Wednesday and Friday (unless something significant needs to be reported on the other days) during the week. Weekly weekend charts will continue to happen when there are significant items to review.
Look at the numbers by Race/Ethnicity. Odd that the Asian folks have the least cases and the least deaths?……not odd at all. Wearing a mask for them is not a political issue, it’s a public health issue. Many Asians wear masks during normal flu seasons, bad air quality days and high pollen days. The data doesn’t lie. Wear a mask folks! Wash your hands and stay out of crowded, indoor places.
