According to the data reported on the Howard County Health Department COVID-19 Dashboard the current number of ICU beds in use for COVID-19 patients is two on July 1st (reporting is always a day behind).

The dashboard has reported the number of ICU beds in use as low as three on a number of dates but this is the first time since April 6th that number has fallen below three (per the dashboard data). The peak number of ICU beds in use for CODIV-19 patients was 13 reported most recently on June 9th as well as other dates in May.

Here is what is shown in the Hospital Capacity tab on June 2nd:

Acute Care beds in use by COVID-19 patients is reported at 13 on July 1st. This is a slight tick up from 11 reported beds in use on June 29th and June 30th. All three dates reported represent a low since April 10th when the number reported that day was 13. The peak number of Acute Bed used by COVID-19 patients was 35 on May 26th.

These are all positive trends in Howard County that we can all hope continue into the future.
