Scott E’s Blog interviewed the following guests about the Grow It Forward campaign in Howard County:

Maryland State Senator Katie Fry Hester
Paul McElderry - Community Action Council’s Director of Food Bank
Leslie Bauer - President of the Howard County Farm Bureau
Colby Ferguson - Director of Government & Public Relations for the Maryland Farm Bureau

The Grow It Forward campaign aims to help meet the needs of food-insecure communities in the fall/winter months of 2020-2021 while simultaneously supporting the economic recovery of small, local farmers. The goal is to raise $100,000 by August 1 and secure an additional 80,000 pounds of local food for local food pantries.
