Back on June 1st I wrote “Will my Vote-By-Mail ballot be counted in Maryland and Howard County in the 2020 Primary?“. I was concerned at that time about the status of my ballot showing received and not accepted. Here is the image I used in that article:

I had not checked the status since June 12th (the final day of ballot canvasing) but decided to check it out this morning. As you can see from the image at the top of the article my ballot status has been changed to accepted (so that happened at some point between the 12th and 16th). Glad to see (finally) that my vote counted.

Have you checked your status of your mail in ballot for the 2020 Primary? If not…check it out here:

Has your ballot status changed yet?  Let me know in the comments.

  1. Yes, my ballot was accepted! Also, this retired HCPSS teacher thanks you so much for your blog! It is a beacon through all this fog!

  2. Mine also changed to “accepted” at some point since your last post. Echoing the previous comment, I am so grateful for your work in putting this blog together. It is the best source of local politics I have found in any place I have ever lived.

  3. Thank you for sending the link. My ballot too was accepted. I am learning so much from your blog. Thank you for your tireless efforts t keep
County voters like me educated on our local politics.
