Missing Clarksville girl Jinyue Zhang has been located unharmed

UPDATE: Howard County Police have reported that missing Clarksville girl Jinyue Zhang has been located unharmed.


Howard County police are asking for the public’s help to locate a missing 13-year-old girl from Clarksville.

Jinyue Zhang is believed to have left her residence in the 12900 block of Kentbury Drive on foot sometime after midnight on Thursday. Her parents discovered her missing at approximately 7 a.m. and contacted police. Zhang has not previously run away and does not have a cell phone with her.

Police have made extensive area checks around her residence, including using K-9s and drones; have contacted her friends in the area; and checked local shopping centers and businesses, but have been unable to locate her.

Zhang is described as an Asian female, approximately 5-foot-6, 100 pounds with a scar on her forehead. It is unknown what clothing she was wearing when she left other than black and pink shoes.
