Elections results have been updated for the Howard County Board of Education in the 2020 Primary. Here are the results as of the evening of June 10th (after the June 10th canvas):
Note – Larry Pretlow now holds a 172 vote lead for 2nd place. This race might be safe to call for the top 2 spots…might.
Note – Mosley continues to hold the highest % of votes of any candidate in any district at this point.
Note – At this point it is safe to call Mallo and Palmer to continue on to the Primary.
Note – Vaillancourt has extended her second place lead now with a 50 vote lead over Ryan. If this race stays this close we still might be talking about a recount when all is said and done. There are enough questionable ballots that it could be a deciding factor this year. Something to think about.
None of these results are final. The Howard County Board of Elections has scheduled one additional date to canvas incoming ballots via mail:
Friday June 12, 2020 – 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM
I will be checking the website each morning to see the changes to the results and will be posting those changes here on the blog. You can watch the changes here as well: https://results.elections.maryland.gov/elections/2020/results/Primary/gen_results_2020_3_by_county_14-1.html
