Elections results have been updated for the Howard County Board of Education in the 2020 Primary. Here are the results as of the morning of June 6th (after the June 5th canvas):
Note – Pretlow added nearly 100 votes more than Cecil after the June 5th canvas and now leads by 1% for the #2 spot.
Note – Mosley holds the highest % of votes of any candidate in any district at this point.
Note – Mallo and Palmer continue to receive the most votes after each canvas and both look like they will move on to the General.
Note – Vaillancourt has moved into second place with an 11 vote lead over Ryan. If this race stays this close we might be talking about a recount when all is said and done.
Here is my summary chart:
None of these results are final. The Howard County Board of Elections has scheduled two additional dates to canvas incoming ballots via mail:
Wednesday June 10, 2020 – 9:00 AM to 11:00 PM
Friday June 12, 2020 – 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM
I will be checking the website each morning to see the changes to the results and will be posting those changes here on the blog. You can watch the changes here as well: https://results.elections.maryland.gov/elections/2020/results/Primary/gen_results_2020_3_by_county_14-1.html
