Elections results are in for the Howard County Board of Education in the 2020 Primary. Here are the results as of the morning of June 3rd:

Note – Watts Looks like she is moving on to the General in 2020. Cecil and Pretlow are to close to call at this point.

Note – Mosley and Heffner move on to the General in 2020.

Note – It appears as if Mallo and Palmer will move forward to the General in 2020 if these numbers hold.

Note – Yu looks like she will move forward to the General in 2020. Ryan and Vaillancourt are to close to call as of this morning.

None of these results are final. The Howard County Board of Elections has scheduled four additional dates to canvas incoming ballots via mail:

Thursday June 4, 2020 – 9:00 AM to 11:00 PM
Friday June 5, 2020 – 9:00 AM to 11:00 PM
Wednesday June 10, 2020 – 9:00 AM to 11:00 PM
Friday June 12, 2020 – 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM

  1. Maybe I spent too much time on the HocoNU facebook page, but I am surprised that Sezin Palmer didn’t do better. It looks like D4, the district redistricting opponents want most (the hatred of Mallo is palpable) is going to come down to where the Coombs supporters move in the general election. Am I correct in assuming most Coombs supporters will move to Mallo based on them both supporting redistricting?
