Suspect arrested and charged with home invasion, burglary, and assault in incident in Laurel on April 24th

ARREST: Home invasion/weapon violation update

Update to the below entry from the Friday, April 24, daily bulletin. Jeremiah Jordan McLeod, 28, of Henderson Avenue in Silver Spring, has been charged with home invasion, burglary, and assault.

Laurel, 20723: 9400 block of Canterbury Riding, April 24 12:35 a.m.

A male victim reported that a male suspect entered his bedroom and displayed a handgun. The victim, along with other residents, were able to disarm the suspect. Police responded and arrested the suspect, who was transported to the hospital for minor injuries sustained in the altercation. Charges against him are pending. The gun was determined to be a BB gun.
