Howard County Government made the following announcement on social media today:
Tomorrow, April 7th, the Howard County Health Department, in partnership with the Maryland Department of Health, will begin offering drive-through COVID-19 testing at the Columbia Emissions Testing Center at 6340 Woodside Court #1071.
To QUALIFY FOR TESTING, residents will need to a referral from their healthcare provider, who will also provide instructions on how to register online or by phone to make an appointment. The site will be open on Tuesdays and Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. each day and by APPOINTMENT ONLY. At the test site, residents are to remain in their vehicle with the windows rolled up until its their turn to receive their test.
This is a follow up to the announcement made by Maryland Governor Larry Hogan on April 3rd: “The Vehicle Emissions Inspection Program station in Columbia will be added to the drive-through coronavirus testing stations in Maryland“.
