Scott E’s Blog is offering free advertising space for Howard County restaurants, bars, breweries, wineries, and distilleries offering takeout / delivery of food and alcohol. This ad space is shown on the front page of the website. Anyone visiting the front page of the site (the most visited page) will see your ad and have the ability to click and go directly to your site or social media page.

Hopefully this helps spread the word about which businesses are open and offering these services for local residents during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. Here is a timeline of actions that has had an impact on these businesses:

On March 16th: All bars, restaurants, movie theaters and gyms across Maryland to shutdown effective 5:00pm today

On March 19th: Governor Hogan has issued an emergency order that allows for delivery and carry-out sales of alcohol by restaurants, bars, distilleries, and wineries, subject to liquor laws and other conditions imposed by local alcoholic beverage authorities

On March 20th: The Howard County Council approved the following rules for the delivery of alcohol by licensees in Howard County

It is still hard to believe that was only 6 days ago.

I have reached out to a few businesses that I am familiar with…but no way I will get in touch with every business in the county.

If you are an owner or manager of one of these types of establishments or have any connections with owners or managers…have them reach out to me if they are interested in this no cost advertising option on the blog. My email is scott@scotteblog.com or they can reach me through the blog: https://scotteblog.com/advertise/. All I need is a graphic for the space (recommended size is 700×400 but I can work with other sized graphics) and where you want the ad to point to when people click on it (website / social media page).

I know this is not a lot but maybe it helps a little during these tough times we are all facing with the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.

I know I will continue to order from many of my favorite local establishments while they remain open and I hope you all do the same to the best of your ability.
