Frederick County Confirms Its First Case of Coronavirus

Multiple outlet are reporting that Frederick County confirms its first case of Coronavirus (COVID-19).

Frederick County is now the 10th County in Maryland plus Baltimore City with confirmed cases of Coronavirus. The reported case count this morning was 37 cases in Maryland. With this report and the earlier report of 3 new cases in Howard County we are over 40 in the state now.

Here is what we know about the locations up to this point:

  • 15 in Prince George’s County
  • 10 in Montgomery County
  • 4 in Baltimore County
  • 4 Howard County
  • 2 in Harford County
  • 1 Charles County
  • 1 Anne Arundel County
  • 1 Carroll County
  • 1 Baltimore City
  • 1 Talbot County
  • 1 Frederick County
