A message from the owners of Food Plenty

As many of you know, two and a half years ago, when we were in the midst of building out our third and largest restaurant, Food Plenty, our oldest daughter Rachael, our CFO, was diagnosed with colon cancer.

With the help of an amazing team at Hopkins, and the support of her friends and family, Rachael began an aggressive protocol to attack and ultimately defeat cancer. At the end of Rachael’s two year fight, we as a family gained a new perspective on life, and more specifically, a need to reduce the stress in her and our lives. With that in mind, we are making the difficult decision to close Food Plenty in an effort to scale back our restaurant operation and focus on our core brands, Victoria and Manor Hill.

As we work to relocate our employees, we want to thank our landlord, Greenstone Ventures, for their support during this transition.

And to our customers, who can continue to find us at Victoria Gastro Pub and Manor Hill Tavern, thanks for your support and understanding.

The following message was posted on the Twitter account for Food Plenty:

We have made the difficult decision to permanently close our doors. Please read the following message from the Marriner Family for additional information. Thank you everyone for your understanding.
